Real-world taxonomies

Wednesday, November 8th, 14.30

Category: Advanced

Track: Web Communication

Most examples of taxonomies are too elementary. The bicycle/pizza example or even several product based website examples are too simple. Taxonomies for intranets or government websites are something quite different.

Erik will show you the differences and why ontologies - although very complex and somewhat academic - are a possible solution for the problems we face with taxonomies.
